Time Stamping Comments on your SharePoint Lists

Here's a way to time stamp comments or notes on your SharePoint list using multiple lines of text. It will track the time, date and who commented on your list.

Step 1: On your comments column or any columns in your list that uses the multiple lines of text, enable the "Append Changes to Existing Text" and click Ok

Note: I found out that if you want to enable time stamping on your document library using multiple lines of text, The "Append Changes to Existing Text" is disabled. What you can do is create a site column for Comments/Notes on the site collection level and add it on your document library column and it should work just fine.
